Objectives

The objective of this course is to provide officers with the fundamental knowledge and skills to assume tasks and duties in Electronic Warfare onboard operational units.

Emphasis is placed on EW principles, RADAR theory and ESM fundamentals in order to allow officers to manage EW information and to act as EW ship’s command advisor.

Audience & Prerequisites

This course is designed for officers from the executive branch (at sea or ashore) with at least 2-3 years’ experience in an operational assignment.

A good knowledge in technical English language (sensors, weapons and operations vocabulary) is required.
