UAV Crew Training - MALE UAV Course Pilot & Payload Operator

For Pilot:
Acquiring knowledge in mission planning through theoretical course of the Light Aircraft Pilot License program.
In-Flight training: fly safely, with assistance and manage & recover failures and plan, prepare and execute LR missions.
For Payload Operator:
Acquiring knowledge in the control of the UAV Payload and Be able to conduct reconnaissance and surveillance of potential targets and areas of interest.
Detects, analyzes and discriminates between valid and invalid targets using electro-optical full-motion video imagery or Be able to conduct operational ISR missions, to plan, prepare and execute long range missions.
Audience & Prerequisites
Intermediate level in English (B2).
Degrees in physics, geography, computer sciences, and mathematics are desirable.
Up to 16 trainees (8 pilots and 8 operators).
Course content
For Pilot:
- Initial flight training:
- 8-day Fight Basic Training (14 flying hours on a MALE UAV simulator and 8 flying hours on a real UAV).
- 7-day Fight Plan Management Training (7 hours on a MALE UAV simulator and 10 flying hours on a real UAV system).
- Advanced flight training:
- 8-day Fight Tactics training (10 flying hours on a MALE UAV simulator and 10 flying hours on a real UAV system).
- 7-day Long Endurance Training (9 flying hours on a real MALE UAV simulator and 10 flying hours on a real UAV system).
- For Payload Operator:
- The theoretical course lasts 4 weeks.
- The flight activity last 10 hours.
- And Initial and Advanced Flight Trainings are common with the pilots in accordance with the underXX program.
