Objectives

  • Improve the knowledge of RPAS operational constraints under unstable and hostile environments.

  • Acquire operational feedback from operational units and crewmembers.

  • Exchange with experts during visits of the French armed forces RPAS units (MALE systems), industrial sites and of the French RPAS Centre of Excellence.

  • This Workshop is applicable/dedicated to:

    • Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAV.

    • Tactical UAV.

    • Mini UAV, Fixed Wing and Rotary Wing UAV training.

Audience & Prerequisites

Intermediate level in English (B1).

Up to 12 trainees.

Course content

  • Day 1 : Welcome in Paris at DCI, (optional) visit of SAFRAN premises:

    • SAFRAN Paris (The Safran Electronics & Defense Patroller – MALE UAV)

  • DAY 2: French Air Force UAV Squadron (Reaper and Harfang AIR OPS FEEDBACK)- COGNAC AIR BASE

  • DAY 3: French Air Force RPAS CoE – RPAS Distributed and collaborative simulation – Tactical UAV – Mini UAV – SALON AIR BASE

  • DAY 4: French NAVY UAV Experimentation Center – NAVY OPS FEEDBACK – HYERES NAVY BASE
