
Objectives
- Have the minimum knowledge to understand the mission environment.
- Be able to manage any kind of missions inside the Joint Operations Area.
- Be prepared to conduct air to ground missions (CDE process, weaponeering & targeting).
- Have a good understanding on C2 needs during Air Operations.
Audience & Prerequisites
Officers and NCOs selected to hold position within a CRC unit or in an Air Operations Centre or in an Air C2 structure with advanced FC skills.
English intermediate level (B1/B2).
Multinational or National course.
4 trainees.
Courses audience, duration and contents can be adapted upon specific requests.
Course content
A large part of the training is dedicated to simulated hands-on work (75%).
The training covers the following items:
- Theoretical:
- Phraseology.
- Air Defense.
- Command & Control.
- Weapons Systems.
- Surface Threats.
- Practical:
- Control of complex missions more than 10 a/c (Large Force Employment).
- Global management of air operation area.
- Dynamic Targeting missions, complex AAR, COMAO.
Particular attention is directed to mission preparation.
A thorough mass-debriefing using a recording of the mission, allows students and instructor to review all perfectible moments of the mission.
